Not necessarily. We offer equipment suitable for beginners and provide basic safety instructions and paddling techniques. However, if you have never practiced, we recommend starting in calm waters and in favorable weather conditions.
The rental includes the kayak or SUP board, paddle, life jacket, and, if necessary, a seat for the kayak. We also provide a brief safety briefing and instructions on how to use the equipment.
We recommend bringing a swimsuit, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, a water bottle, and a towel. If you plan to bring your phone or other valuables, a waterproof bag is a good idea.
The minimum age for renting without an adult is 16 years old. Minors under 16 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Young children can accompany adults in double or family kayaks.
If the weather conditions are unsafe (strong wind, storms, etc.), we will cancel or postpone the rental. Your safety is our priority. In case of cancellation, we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Pets are welcome in kayaks, under the owner's responsibility. It is recommended that pets are accustomed to water and wear their own life jacket if necessary.
You will be asked to sign a rental agreement detailing the liability for damages. Minor damages from normal use are not a problem, but significant damages due to negligence or misuse must be compensated.
We have a designated area where you can safely store your belongings while you are on the water. However, we are not responsible for valuables, so we recommend you only bring the essentials.
